It's well acknowledged that MR imaging has significant advantages over CT imaging, with better soft tissue contrast and without ionizing radiation. Nowadays, we easily observe the increasing use of MRI in radiotherapy with MR Sim and MR-guided Linac, as well as all kinds of devices that meet the needs for use in MR RT scenarios. 

CT Sim is the most used radiotherapy simulation technology today, while X-ray simulators are getting less and less. MR Sim is growing but not yet widely adopted due to the high equipment cost. However, there is an easy and economical way to realize MR Sim with the clinic's existing diagnostic MRI. And the key to using a diagnostic MRI as good as enough for MR Sim is to guarantee the same patient position between MR Sim and CT Sim for ideal image fusion and the same position in the treatment delivery process.

The Radiotherapy Department of the Jiangxi Provincial People's Hospital adoptes the "Klarity MR RT Solutions," which enables MR imaging in the same position as treatment. There was a small error between the CT image and MR image, and the boundary of the lesion area could be seen in the fusion image.
